Returns Policy

I hope you LOVE your purchase when it arrives!  All of Abooteek’s products are carefully designed by me and then handmade by quality focused artisans who only go into production on receipt of your order.

But sometimes, things can go wrong – for example, your gift may have been damaged in transit  or there is a fault with the product.  If this happens please let me know within 14 days of receipt, at hello @

What to do if you are not completely happy with your purchase:

If, for any reason, you are not happy with your purchase, simply drop me an email within 14 days of receipt.

But sometimes, things can go wrong – for example, your gift may have been damaged in transit  or there is a fault with the product.  If this happens please let me know within 14 days of receipt, at hello @

If you do not notify Abooteek within this 14 day period, Abooteek will be unable to refund or replace the goods.

You have 30 days in which to request a refund or return for NON-PERSONALISED goods. Having emailed Abooteek within 14 days (as instructed above), I will confirm whether you should return the goods in their original packaging whenever possible. (If you no longer have the original packaging, please use something equivalent to avoid damage/further damage to the goods).

Faulty Goods

If the goods you have received are faulty, or they are not as described on the site you must send Abooteek a photograph of the faulty goods BEFORE sending the goods back to Abooteek. 

Each Abooteek product is created with care by specialists in their field. Where you believe there is a fault, the product will be assessed by technical specialists and returns accepted where production faults are confirmed.  

Where a production fault is confirmed, a replacement product will be sent out or a refund processed, on safe receipt of your package of he returned goods in their original state.  

Design Appearance

Please keep in mind that colours can vary from screen to screen and that colours in our products may therefore look slightly different from how they appear on your screen, than when seen in person.  

Colours can also print differently on different fabrics, for example ink shades may differ slightly depending on whether they are printed onto leather, canvas or satin, etc. 

Mock-up images have sometimes been used on the website to demonstrate general scale or additional usage.

The scale and/or layout of the prints and patterns on products may vary very slightly from the way the designs look in product mockups; for example, a pattern on a size small may be smaller than the same design on an extra large size.

Expected Production & Delivery Times

Abooteek’s products are custom made-to-order for you, on receipt of your order.  

Production time is generally 1-5 business days and shipping time is generally between 2-14 business days, but both timelines may vary and shipments may be delayed due to factors including the type and quantity of items ordered; where they are shipping from or to; staffing; holidays; postal strikes; force majeure; pandemics; or other factors out of Abooteek’s control.

Orders within the UK are usually received within a few days after production, but may take longer in exceptional circumstances.

There may be extra charges for remote areas, oversized parcels and multiple quantities.


Your order may arrive in multiple packages and/or on different days, depending on what items and how many are ordered.

Carriers include, but not limited to: Royal Mail, UPS, USPS, FedEx, and DHL.

If there are additional shipping costs for delivery to the address on the order, the customer will be contacted.

If the customer doesn’t want to pay the additional shipping costs or the order cannot be shipped to the delivery destination for any reason, the order will be cancelled and refunded.

Customers are also responsible for any additional fees that may be applied, such as duties or taxes.

Abooteek is not responsible for any issues with shipping (such as lost packages or packages delivered to the incorrect address) and concerns must be addressed directly to the shipping service or postal service.

Refund Policy

As mentioned above, all our products are custom made-to-order for you, meaning that they don’t go into production until you place your order. This means that we don’t offer refunds or exchanges.

However, my production partners may replace an item if it is damaged or if there is an issue due to human error (for example, a product was sewn using the wrong sized pattern).

If there is an issue with a product in your order, please email hello @ within 14 days of receiving your order with clear, detailed photos of the damage or other issue, and we will coordinate with our production partner and notify you if they deem that it’s eligible for a replacement.

A replacement is not guaranteed, and there may be a fee for reprinting.

In summary, if you have a problem, or you’re not happy with your purchase, please do reach out via email (hello @ and I will do my best to resolve any issues. I’m here to help, and want you to be delighted with your purchase, and will do what I reasonably can to resolve any issues which may arise.

Your Statutory Rights: The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulation 2000 (UK) states that all customers have the right to cancel their contract within seven working days, from the day after the delivery date of the goods, with the exception of personalised and made to order items.
